Saturday did not end the way I had hoped but it helped me learn more. Started on the pole of Heat 1 but lost it going into turn 1 & 2from hitting a dry spot and having a bad shock on the left rear, then spun out again in the same turn while trying to catch back up. Started 7th in the Main and got up to 4th without knowing but hit that dry spot in turn 1 & 2 and so did Matthias and we caught each others bumpers. I started in the back on the restart and soon after just catching back up to about 5th and was passing 22 in turn 1 when 3rd place got loose up highland came down on another car. I saw that he was spinning toward the infield so I went up high coming out of turn 2 to avoid him, but his car switched directions and when I went to step on the brakes my foot slipped under the pedal. I tried again and started braking but the front of his car spun around and slammed my right front end into the wall. The car will most likely be ready by the next race, and I will be too. My ribs got hurt and my back is too. I am soo glad that I had my dad and Kylie there with me to help me and be there for me:). I love you both and thank you for being such a great pit crew:)
