Saturday homily by Fr. Bob Longobucco , this time it was cut short because my battery ran out , I finally added enough memory for hours of video and went to mass directly from the Ramundo family re-union and I needed to recharge it. Duh , there was a charger in the car during the 30 minute drive from Vohreesville to Union St. I am a work in progress at smart phones. Tomorrow I am at 8:30 at Rosa reading 1 , and I will get it all I promise. I know the number of requests I get for this from people out of town (Helen see you soon) so this is a sneak preview. The good news is by popular request I am in phase 1 of getting my drivers license back .. I have not been an official New Yorker since early 1991. DMV and the Town of Niskayuna had a great laugh over this. I am also getting dental implants, Ouch! The irony of all this is it took a decision that broke my heart to give me incentive to spend a few bucks on myself , which was very much against my natural desires. Hooray for bad news. For those worrying about me smoking to lose weight besides eating like a snail my date is July 9th and then that ends like it did July 9th 2012. I have to eat mints by the bagful to kill that foul taste, Every time I am hungry I take two puffs and presto magic I am too nauseous to eat. If the Yankees lose I am too nauseous to eat without anything else.Thank God or Girardi or the young Steinbrenners for bad news almost every day recently. Have they scored only 1 run 10 times in the last 20 games including extra innings? Really, Soriano keep swinging the heaviest bat in the world when you have 2/5 of a second to swing or not against smart pitchers with more stats than ever in the history of baseball. Keep signing old men to face young superstars.
