Saturday night, Sunday morning around 00:13. Mckean 5 and MA 5 were dispatched to a 2 car MVA with entraptment on Rt. 321 South of Kane in Wetmore Township near the South Settlement Rd. Chief 5-30, Rescue 51, Engine 58 and Kane Fire Police responded. 5-30 was on scene and confirmed entraptment in both vehicles and requested an additional ambulance from Mt. Jewett (MA 10) and a medic unit out of Ridgway, in addition 5-30 requested mutual aid from Elk Co. 6 (Wilcox). Units utilized there hydraulic hurst tools to extricate the patients. Two helicopters were also called. Units were avaliable around 03:30 and roadway was reopened. Thank you to all mutual aid that responded and assisted Station 5.
