Saturday saw a fabulous turn out for the latest South Wales walk. Its fair to say that this was probably due to the fact that some of our guests were checking out what will be the first night section on the Valleys 100. The day started very wet, but the rain soon cleared up to leave a nice day. The recent heavy rain caused some issues at a stream crossing that would now be defined as a river crossing!! Caerphilly Council are aware of the need to build a bridge at the stream location near Treharris, and hopefully this will be built by the end of the winter. Photos of the walk will follow in due course and be entitled Valleys 100 Part 3 - 09.11.13.
