Asieh is known for challenging gender-based injustices within Iran’s judicial system and advocating for an end to stoning as a form of execution. By drawing attention to the flawed justice system, Asieh hopes to dismantle Iran’s discriminatory legal structure and rebuild one where the rule of law is respected and practiced. Asieh continues to write articles, blogs and books aimed at improving women’s rights in Iran, and remains hopeful that democracy and peace will come to Iran.
