Saturdays AAMI Classic final will see world No.7 Tomas Berdych take on world No.17 Kei Nishikori, both vying for the coveted Lew Hoad trophy and a place on an honour roll that boasts the likes of Pete Sampras, Roger Federer, Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Michael Chang and Pat Cash. Berdych has progressed through the tournament unbeaten while Nishikori has lost only one of the three matches hes played. The popular Japanese player said he was keen to emulate the achievements of his coach Chang. Michael won this event three times in the 1990s and I would love to get my name on the AAMI Classic honour roll as well, he said. Nishikori and Berdych are looking to use this final match as a final tune-up ahead of next weeks Australian Open. The AAMI Classic action will open at 1pm with Australian rising stars Ben Mitchell and Luke Saville playing a showcase match on Centre Court.
