Saturdays Free Speech Day of Action, was a good day in the Park. We had a pretty good variety of travelers, campers, housies and several cute dogs. We had an abundance of sign making materials, and eager, clever, signwriters. So much food showed up! An anonymous donor dropped off a dinner, and Jessie made his very first curry, which was a hit. Its been a long while since I missed serving the feed, and even though I strained my back pretty badly earlier in the day, I was still able to finish. The signs were incredible, lots of heart, spirit, and mind. What was real special is that several people who chip in with various Solidarity Not Charity also showed up, and I noticed just how generous people have been with us for all these years. These donations always came straight from peoples hearts, because we are not tax deductible.Best of all was the sense of community and fun that seems to be creeping back in. If you were there, you felt it, too. Hot Damn! Made up our mind to host our seasons first pot luck, soon. Remember my Criteria for Spring? If you cant pull down your pants, and sit on the Earth, without shivering, it aint Spring
