Never Before has there been a large hydro-plant the size of Morris Shepherd at PK closed in the State of Texas. The BRA claimed they closed it for purposes that maintenance was too costly. Digging deep into the BRAs Water Management Plant we come to find the real story. The Other River Authorities are watching very closely. The results of our actions with the closing of the hydro plant will set the standard as to whether possibly other hydro plants could take the same road as Morris Shepard. So Ask yourself: Does the BRA poorly manage water in the Brazos River Basin? Should the BRA have more closely scrutinized the closing of Morris Shepard? Should the State of Texas give another drop of water to the BRA to manage? Whether now or in the future? Do you oppose Permit 5851 of 400,000 acre ft of Brazos River Basin Water?
