After a month of frustrating contact lens fittings, irritations, eye ulcer, and shooting eye pains, I was nearly in tears when my lens fitting today showed me nothing but a blurry world. My nurse very clearly spotted my distress, stopped everything she was doing to sit down and talk to me about childrens books and kids until I was calm again. She knows NOTHING about kids books (They dont write enough books for kids. Were so lucky to have you out to change that!) but she knew I liked to talk about it. Then, voila, next lenses did the trick: I could see! And what did I see? Her big beautiful smile and her peppy thumbs up. You can bet Im filling out my patient survey.
