Saw 3 movies this weekend, first one was The Holiday (saw it last night) directed by Nancy Meyers. It was a nice Rom-Com with a sense of subtlety and innate charm. I probably liked it because I am in a somewhat similar situation at this stage of my life. Kate Winslet as usual was amazing. Watched Gunday this evening and it was a below average one time watch kinda movie, storyline was so predictable that even a 5 year old could tell what was about to happen. Performances were strictly okay. Finally I ended up watching a gem which I recall I saw way back in school with a friend, the name of the movie is Good Will Hunting and it seriously is a masterpiece. I liked it when I first saw it but probably I couldnt understand everything because of my age then but enjoyed it thoroughly this time around and yeah hats off to Matt Damon and Ben Affleck for writing such an amazing screenplay and to Robin Williams for playing such a complex character with such ease and refinement...think there is time for one more film tonight :)
