Saw an episode of Seinfeld tonight that I had never seen before - the one with Bette Midler. At the end, Bettes understudy comes onstage and begins crying b/c the laces on her one of her boots is untied. She begs the audience to give her another chance and let her start again. Mahaley thought it was funny and I told her that she didnt even have any idea why it was funny. This was followed first by an oral history lesson and then by YouTube videos of Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding. Her homework tonight was centered around Mao Zedong . . . they dont teach the important history in school - we have to do it at home!
