Saw daughter dear Samantha Caloroso and adorable granddaughter Aurianna again. Aurianna has had a second surgery and now only 5% of her intestines remain OUTSIDE her little body. Still on vent, 21% oxygen with O2 sats in the mid- 90%s, after TEN fluid boluses and a foley insertion, urine output is like a racehorse, chirps her NICU nurse, and she is now sporting a central line in her scalp along with the peripheral line already in place. They started TPN and lipids Sunday, and Samanthas nurse says that SHE is perfect. She is bumping breast milk for Auriannas later use, proud of her achievements and progress in this, stoic regarding ouchiness associated with this. Im so very proud of my dear daughter.
