Saw one of the saddest things in quite some time on my way home from work tonight. Right before I pulled into the driveway I saw something moving really slowly across the road. I slowed down to check it out and it turned out to be a baby raccoon that someone had hit him with their car either paralyzing his lower half or breaking his hind legs. He was pulling himself with his front legs across the street into the neighbors yard. Injured animals get me every time =( I hate seeing the little guys suffer. If I would have had something to transport him in I would have gotten him. But he was pretty determined to keep going through the yard and into their woods.
