Saw some forward on Barbie doll on FB... And suddenly realised that not just Barbie which is an international brand but even Indian made dolls are blonde and fair and blue eyed and thin....when Indians are supposed to be brown, dark haired, dark eyed and not the thin body typed...So indirectly we are trying to imbibe on a kids mind that brown and plump is not as beautiful as the fair-blonde-pencil thin...further making them a person who is superficial till they actually get mature enough to understand that beauty is much more than just skin/hair/eye color..!
