Saw the new Evil Dead today. A lot of over the top, yet unique, gore, "Deadites" spouting Excorcist style remarks ("come down here so I can suck your cock, pretty boy"), no CGI or sudden loud noise cheap scares, completely different from the original with a few sly nods tucked into the background. I completely approve of this "re-imagining" and intend to buy the film when it is released for home consumption.
