Saw this on another post, but could not comment; thus re-posted. I do not agree with any faith schools; religious education; not brainwashing! This will be regarded as Child Abuse one day; soon I hope, but the political system, pandering to faiths for votes, will need to change first! Children are born with minds, they must not be branded at birth or nurtured in a faith, they are not our possessions or toys, they are new people. As time goes by, Ethics will allow them to make their own minds up, once educated with balanced views; if they understand the options, see others with other views, but decide I like the way Mum & Dad think, solve problems and live their life, join them, but not under fanatical pressure or judgements. Learn from them, study other religions and ways of life; they may guide you to a better way?
