Why is it important for females to engage in regular weight training?? -It assists in fat loss -It preserves muscle mass, increase muscle mass therefore increase metabolic capacity -Reduce the risk of osteoporosis. You cant dodge the inevitable scenario of decrease in bone density that comes with age, BUT you can slow it down and minimise this through a weight training regime. -Increase in energy and mood. I have seen huge improvements from depression sufferers with outlook on life and overall confidence. -Increase in libido. Total win! -Reduce the pain of existing injuries if not correct them completely. -Build muscle in the right areas to appear fitter, more proportioned and athletic.
