Sawyer Glacier, Tracey Arm, Alaska I have been to Tracey Arm three times. It always amazes, just by the enormity of it. It is just huge! Over a very long period of time glaciers, which are a river of ice, have carved dozens of hanging valleys out of solid granite. The glacial ice is the most amazing color of blue, ranging from dark navy blue to very delicate tones of aqua and turquoise. As the oxygen content of the ice decreases the color of the ice darkens. This is looking past the base of two hanging valleys to the face of the glacier. Canon 6D Canon 400 f-4 DO lens
