Say hello to our newest addition to the shelter crew. Yes this is big Terrance again, he did get adopted on Tuesday, but it did not work out. He was a bit too big for the adopters so he was brought back to us today. Terrance here we have had now more or less since September 19th of last year. He is a very big boy at 70 pounds, a rott-hound mix, about four years now that he has almost spent a year with here. He DOES NOT like cats, but Terrance gets along with all dogs. His buddy right now is Lola who is in one of these pictures. He is a big lover and everyone who gets him out adores him. He also went through some training at our prison training program for five months where they teach dogs basic commands, housebreaking, work on certain behavior, etc. He was there for five months, although the limit is three months we did not have a replacement for him so he stayed a bit longer. His handler has even written to us asking about him because he loved working with Terrance and missed him. If anyone would be interested in this big loving goof they can stop out to see him anytime we are open. Also, to adopt there would be the application process. Applications can be done online at hsmcohio or at our shelter before or after meeting Terrance or another dog.
