Say hello to these new, adorable additions to our dog program--these puppies are only a week old and growing fast! Everyone is thriving, and even though their eyes haven’t opened yet, they are already trying to explore their surroundings! Their pregnant mom Mila was rescued from the Harnett County Shelter just one day before she was going to be euthanized. As pregnant as she looked, we certainly didn’t expect ten bundles of joy (seven boys and three girls). She is such a sweet and lovable dog and has been a wonderful momma nursing and caring for them! Although it will be awhile before they’ll be available for adoption, we’ll keep you updated with more pics as they get bigger!
