Saying goodbye is never easy. Today will be especially hard. You looked after us for so many years. Then when you got sick we were able to look after you. For the past 7 years we watched you go through many changes. Most of them horrible and so unfair. But the one thing that never changed you the love you had for us ( and us for you). You may not have been able to speak the words but we could see it in your eyes when we walked into the room and the wonderful long hugs we received every time we entered or left a room. We will be lost without you. But we will be OK. You made sure of that. As we lay you to rest today we will cry because of our loss we will feel without you. But we will also smile and laugh because after a long battle you are now free and out of pain. We will think of you often and when we do it will be with love and respect. You made a huge impact on those people you loved. Especially your 8 children, your grandchildren, great grandchildren and your devoted wife ( my mom). RIP Pop until we meet again.
