Scan complete, verdict in! Unfortunately it discovered a new tumour in my left shoulder and the spread to several more lymph nodes! Of the 4 old tumours, 1 has grown significantly, 2 have grown slightly and 1 has not grown! With 3 scans to compare in the last year my endocrinologist said the medical evidence and growth rates combined with likelihood of additional tumours, he is confident i will see Christmas but certainly a decline in health should be expected after then! He feels that i should get an extra 3-6 months longer than first predicted so thats a good thing! The plan is to enjoy August, prepare for treatment and recovery September and October, then November add to my bucket list, December enjoy my 50th birthday and Christmas! So the fight just got a little bit harder but nothing will stop my belief, hope and determination but i may just need more help from my family and friends!
