Scared senior :( Black and white Benji is an extremely scared senior of 10 years of age. His owners surrendered him due to a housing change and they could no longer keep Benji. Imagine his horror at being in a cage at the ACC after living in a home environment all of these years. He is beside himself with worry! Benji’s owners reported that he is friendly with strangers, has lived with other dogs, and is also friendly towards children. Benji was extremely upset at the intake process and was described as “timid and cage aggressive”—symptoms of extreme fear. At 12 pounds poor Benji must have felt so outmatched with all of the other larger dogs and strange sounds around him. Please help Benji find a new home again. He needs kindness and understanding and a good medical work up as well. Benji is New Hope only and must be reserved through a New Hope approved rescue. The ACC has Benji on the euthanasia list tonight and he will be gone tomorrow unless someone is able to step up for this senior now!
