Scary day today. Life is so precious and fragile. Took my beloved Rocky (and Ringo) for a 6 mile hike today. The heat got intense and before we finished, Rocky collapsed. Thankfully I called Bilo and he brought more water and carried him down the mountain. The gate at the parking lot was miraculously open so I drove in to the mountain. We loaded him into my suv, drove home, and stuck him in the pool. Thank God he is ok. And thank all the sweet people who gave him their extra water and expressed concern. Lesson learned... it was tough and scary... but now I realize even more that we need to be careful and take care of our bodies.
