Scatter shooting on a late summer morning...up at the usual time and out to get the paper couldnt help but notice it was still dark...season is changing - just wait - all things change..e on fall...read this morning about the rocket dockets sending unaccompanied children back to home countries...sigh...story on an eight year old and her five year old brother who came all the way from Honduras alone - Hmmmm- and across unaccompanied ...mother (an undocumented resident who crossed illegally) shows up in the courtroom asking judge to allow her children to stay with her...if sent back the children will go as they came - unaccompanied...WAIT...what about their mother...how is it that her motherly love, concern is outweighed by her desire to remain here and watch her kids being sent back, alone...my heart breaks for these kids...BUT...wiping the tears from my eyes enables me to see that there is much more to this whole situation...wisdom Lord...wisdom...speaking of kids...an elementary just around the corner from our house...love seeing the little ones...reminds me of those opening days at Plano ISD...Edward Jones guy rang the door bell the other day...how about allowing me to manage your money he says...ah...Im married says I...oh, ok..so you already have a money manager he says...hehehehe...great thing about working with kids is that you get to be witness to their maturation...so ESPN does a piece on the showering habits of Michael Brown...perfect illustration of a slow news day...speaking of old news...Fox reports - with photographic backup - tanks, mechanized artillery and armored calvary units have crossed into Ukraine from Russia and are now engaging the Ukrainian army in direct combat...Putin says with a smile that one should not believe their lying eyes...see that another so called American has been killed fighting with ISIS...question raised about the threat to homeland security from these resident warriors of allah...POTUS says not to worry about these Americans who are sympathetic to the cause of the Muslim Brothers but to worry about the militant extremist in the middle east...ah...pardon sir but fellow told me once that keeping a rattle snake in your house will ALWAYS get you bit...interesting all the fuss about the militarization of local law enforcement...wonder how many of these crying foul would want to take to the street with a pistola against the militarized lawless...understand my bias but how about this...not only should we endeavor to see that those who stand the wall for us are equally and adequately provisioned but then lets do all we can to turn the tide in their favor with more and better provision...local law enforcement under local control serves, protects AND defends...okay...enough already...Trudy Belle and her faithful servant will be on the road later today headed to Houston Town...prayers for traveling mercy much appreciated...OH..one last thing...know several in a given circumstance who have been disappointed by continued delays...hope deferred is a killer...faith placed in that which is not seen is a sure investment in a happy and peaceful future...Selah...
