Scheduler – Planning Engineer Job Description A Scheduler & Planning Engineer is an individual who manages and oversee the preparation of schedules by all EPC contractors and suppliers & Knowledgeable in the creation and revision of preliminary master schedule for operations detailing the sequence of all work to be performed. Responsible for the overall Project Planning and Scheduling functions of project/s assigned by the Project Management team throughout the project cycle. Developing and monitoring of Master Implementation Programme (MIP) using MS project tools. Provide technical/functional support with regard to planning and scheduling works. Tracking, monitoring and reporting work progress and delay occurrence, review the remedial measures proposed by the Employer Representatives and Sub-Contractor. Ensure that all projects Schedule adhere to structure, budget and timeframe and provide regular analysis. Main tasks involve the coordinating of joint data collection which is then updated for daily, weekly and monthly progress reporting. Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project construction management, site planning and scheduling. Knowledgeable in project management covering the project planning, monitoring and construction Management. Good interpersonal skill and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Able to lead and coordinate works amongst project implementation team. Analytical with planning and organizational skills. Good command of written and spoken in English.
