Scholarships for special needs schools: My 12 year old son has Aspergers, ADHD, and anxiety. His first year in middle school was horrible! He was accepted into a private school for kids with special needs. It is a fantastic school with very small classroom sizes. Lessons are planned around their learning style and there is a lot of hands on activities. The school district is saying they wont place him there because he passed everything and they are meeting his needs. He barely passed with major supports. Anyways, we are sending him because he needs it. He needs this opportunity to shine. They offer financial aid but parents stil have to pay a percentage. Does anyone know of funding or scholarships that might be available to help? We live in New York.
