Scientific research now shows that who we are on all levels – biologically, emotionally and psycho-spiritually – is fundamentally determined by our experiences in the Womb. The frequencies of feelings and beliefs that permeate us during our gestation in the Womb genetically program us for a life of love, bliss, communion and pleasure; or a life in which we are wired for anxiety, trauma and suffering. Our mother’s Womb is the cradle of our existence. This process happens through epigenetic modification of our DNA. While we are gestating in the womb, our genetic expression is modified by literally everything that our mother experiences – foods, toxins, relationship, emotions, illness, family support, cultural beliefs, etc. Positive or negative experiences turn on or turn off different portions of our DNA, and until they are healed, these changes determine our lives at a deep subconscious and genetic level, and are passed on to future generations. Our lives are a culmination of all the experiences of our ancestors, which have left a profound genetic imprint on our DNA. This is the biological origin of our ancestral memories. We are a ‘web’ of experiences. What we experience while gestating in our mother’s womb directly determines who will get cancer, who will be obese, who will be intelligent, who will have successful love relationships, who will be anxious or depressed, who will be a good nurturing mother, who will be a sociopath. This happens via the mechanism of epigenetic modification of our DNA – in other words, our experiences change the way our genes our expressed. Our experiences turn on or turn off our genetic expression. All the great spiritual systems speak of a great Rebirth to change the expression of our DNA and to connect back to superconsciousness and the Source of Creation.
