Scooter went on a journey today :) He moved in with the same wonderful foster family who is fostering his brother, Jerry Lee, to make it easier for our trainer to work with both of them. Scooter (wearing the red collar) and Jerry Lee (wearing the blue harness) are not a bonded pair, but dogs always have a sense of whos family :) For the time being were going slowly with re-integration to make sure that theyre both happy to see each other again - but it should not take long at all! Scooter took the move in stride - did well with his canine foster brothers and with Jerry Lee as well - and LOVED spending time with the children! Both of these pups are just beginning to learn about life outside of a kennel, and both need to gain some more weight before we can clear them medically for adoption. But both are doing GREAT!!! They LOVE children, get along with other dogs and cats, too - and are becoming increasingly more relaxed and confident with each passing day.
