Scottish independence: Voters answer referendum question today. I have very fond memories of Scotland. In the good ol days of Hotmail, ICQ, MSN messenger and Geocities, long before the trend and advent of Couchsurfing , I managed to stay with then-strangers-now-family, Ann and David, in their small Scottish village of Forfar, Dundee. We made soaps, packed and sold them in Scottish country fairs at the castles nearby. So as they vote for their independence from UK today, the only question I have in mind is : Will an independent Scotland require a separate visa to visit Scotland or will the UK one do ? :-) Id like to visit Ann and David again, you see ! ((By the way, when I reached Scotland, 10 years back, I was mighty surprised to see that Bank of Scotland and Bank of England were two separate entities and they had two different currencies - same value but different notes - and they wouldnt accept each others.))
