Scotts first day of school and he was 40 minutes late. Left at a good time and we would have been early, but there was a trian stopped on the tracks for over an hour. I called the school then we look for an alt route. Found one and made it to school then we went in and got his student id. Then to the office for him to get a pass. Found out that the train sitting on track is common at this time. And when it does they annouce it over speakers so teachers expect late kids and have to let them in without a pass. But we got a pass anyways. And off he went in to the new school day. Super excited to hear how his first day went. Cross fingers it will be a great day and he will meet some nice kids.
