Scripture for Today: To as many as received him, he gave POWER to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name…being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience…I can do ALL things by means of the one [Christ] who keeps on pouring the POWER into me. John 1:12, Colossians 1:11, Philippians 4:13 [corrected translation R.B. Thieme Jr] NO matter what the challenges of life you face today, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, he has designed a fantastic powersphere for you from which all issues of life can be dealt with by means of His POWER and the things He has GIVEN to you in Christ. He has NOT left us helpless; we have more POWER at our disposal than any other believers in history- the indwelling and filling of God the Holy Spirit, the indwelling of Jesus Christ and His Word [which is the mind of Christ], and the indwelling of God the Father with the opportunity for intimate and personal relationship with God through harmonious rapport and fellowship with Him. There is NO reason for us to wallow in the issues of life when God has given the fantastic solutions to ALL issues of life. It is a choice we make- do we want to be defeated by life when we have the power to overcome ALL things by means of Christ, or do we want to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior and be overcomers with Him.
