Scrolling through this page one thing jumped out at me: someone ranting about the admins removing posts or members that insist on using profanity (swearing). If you joined this group, you should have read the about section at the top of the page. It very clearly states no swearing. The ranting post tried to justify the use of profanity by stating that the word ass is in the Bible. Yes it is, it is used in instead of the word donkey, not as the most common use of the word these days, to insult to another person. People need to expand their vocabulary and learn how to express their thoughts and opinions without cussing, reguardless of their age, or the age of other members of the group. Getting angry at the admins for doing what they have been entrusted to do is idiotic, its like getting angry with the mailman for delivering your mail becauset a bill was delivered. If you dont like the guidelines and rules set forth by the people who created this page, and the fact that the admins are doing what they have been asked to do, get over it or find a different group. I am an admin in a different Doctor Who closed group. I have removed posts, and banned people for not adhearing to the rules. I give people a warning to remind them that profanity and bullying will not be tolerated. If the do the same thing again, I do what I was asked to do by removing them andthe post. As an admin we are asked to monitor what is posted, and stop bullying and swearing. The term Family Friendly does not mean it is catering to children, it means that you should not post comments using language that others (of any age) may find offensive.
