Discover a new taste around every corner Get ready for an urban adventure and enjoy a taste around every corner at Parramatta Lanes over four days in October from Tuesday 7 October to Friday 10 October, 5pm to 10pm. Presented by Parramatta City Council as part of Good Food Month, Parramatta Lanes will offer gourmet street foods, craft beers, cocktails, live music and art installations within seven uniquely themed sites throughout Parramatta CBD. Lord Mayor of Parramatta Cr John Chedid said revellers are invited to discover our city and tour seven typically quiet lanes, car parks and squares in Parramatta as they’re transformed into beautifully themed spaces, from a Middle Eastern bazaar to a chic French inspired eatery, and even a Tokyo neon playground with an array of Asian street food. “With our Eat Street precinct already bolstering a strong ‘foodies’ presence, Parramatta Lanes is a perfect addition to Parramatta’s thriving food scene and helps further our reputation as a food destination,” he said “This year Parramatta Lanes is expected to once again draw thousands of people from all over Sydney and I encourage everyone to come along and experience this unique urban event,” Cr Chedid said. Highlights include: The Bazaar Town Hall Lane Enticing Middle Eastern street food served in an exotic location. The Village Fete Leigh Church A vintage craft market featuring Australian culinary classics and live music. The Art Amble Batman Walk A sensory feast of video, sound and installations. Tokyo Neon Roxy Car Park An array of Asian street food, the Grasshopper cocktail bar and the LOVE TV performance space. Disco Desserts Red Cow Lane Delectable desserts served with a disco soundtrack.
