Sea Shepherd and other anti-grind fanatics often claims that unlike the Faroes, children in other countries never takes part in and/or witness slaughter and buthering of animals. They claim this in order to demonize the Faroese by claiming that other people in the civilized world does not let their kids see this While this may be true to most commercial abattoirs, its a completely different situation with the slaughter of wild game. Here is a video i found on YouTube of moose butchery in Sweden, where the pretty much same thing happens as with whales in the Faroes when it comes to participation by children. Many, many, many hunters does this with their kids, and its very common in wild game slaughter.
