Seattle Mariners are expected to look to trade outfielder Michael Saunders this offseason. Saunders hit .273 (63-231) with 8 home runs & 34 RBI in 78 games this season. Saunders missed two months of the season due to a back injury. New York Yankees & RHP Andrew Bailey have agreed to a new minor league deal. Bailey went 3-1 with a 3.77 ERA in 30 relief appearances with the Red Sox in 2013. Bailey missed the 2014 season due to setbacks in his recovery from his shoulder injury. Free agent LHP Wandy Rodriguez has recovered from knee surgery & will pitch in the winter league this year. Rodriguez went 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in 6 starts with the Pirates before he was released in May. Milwaukee Brewers signed outfielder Jeremy Hermida to a minor league contract with an invitation to Spring Training. Hermida last played in the Majors in 2012 with the Padres, hitting .250 (6-24) with 2 RBI in 13 games. Hermida hit .256 (87-340) with 16 home runs & 67 RBI in 108 games in the Triple-A during the 2014 season. Pittsburgh Pirates claimed infielder Jake Elmore off waivers from the Cincinnati Reds. Elmore hit .182 (2-11) in 5 games this season. Elmore hit .281 (75-267) with 24 RBI in 72 games in the minors this season.
