Sebelum mandi tbe2 nak baca blog student drpd luar negara dtg Malaysia n nak tau cara dia belajar & pendapat diorg pasal cara student Malaysia belajar tbe2.. 10 things I dislike about Malaysia 1. Car drivers, not willing to slow down while its raining and splashing water on passers-by... 2. To be treated like a totally stupid tourist who is not aware of local prices, has loads of money and doesnt know how to get rid of it... 3. Sanctimony and imposing religious views... Many muslims behave opposit to what Islam proclaims... 4. Brazen chatups and penetrating glances of some asian men who think all European girls are promiscuous... just one more banal and graceless prejudice... 5. Educational, business and religious discrimination of ethnic minorities... Some of my friends told me a few stories from real life... 6. Environmental ignorance, whether conscious or not... It hurts to see behavour of some people who live to consume and not vice versa... 7. Policemen... one day I was detained by 6 (or more!!) police bike drivers only because I was late in the evening alone on the street... See my post What to do if you are Malaysian police officer and you are bored? coming soon... 8. A lot of obese people, sometimes small kids!! Some dishes are much too sweet or fatty... I read that diabetes rate is very high here... 9. The indifferent or sometimes even cruel way of treating of street animals... One day I tried to feed a poor little kitten with a big wound on her back (smb poured hot water on her :( What I read in the eyes of the passers-by was: Is she complete nuts? 10. Inspite women friendly philosophy, many men behave in a not very masculine way... I felt my jaw drop when a woman advanced in pregnancy had to stand in the the public transport while all men kept sitting as if nothing happened!! 10 things I like about Malaysia 1. Malaysia is like a big artist palette... You can find an icredibly big variety of colours and its shades: sounds, smells, looks, habits, emotions, tastes, moves, ideas and dreams... 2. Malaysia is like a vast exotic botanical garden: virgin nature, unusual shapes, bright colours, bizarre stones and the feeling as if this is heaven on Earth... 3. I have always liked rain... but rain in Malaysia struck both my imagination and my senses (not sure though if you say it in English like that :) 4. A paradise both for gourmets and for those who doesnt really care what they put in their mouth... I still dream to feel the taste of spicy souces, kailan, rice cakes, banana roti, sesame coconut balls, murtabak and... sorry, all is so mouthwatering that I cant stop listing :) 5. Marvelous mosques... every has its style, atmosphere and endless peace whenever you are inside... 6. Night Markets... If you never experienced what it is, you dont know what Malaysia is... 7. Most Malaysian Women are not wearing revealing clothes... the beauty of a woman is in her purity and modest behaviour... 8. It is a very family-oriented country... Instead of going to bars for a drink or have a football-beer-party with friends, many men spend weekend with their familys in parks, cafes, malls etc... Its quite usual to see a father with his children playing... lovely... 9. Shopping... you can buy anything... except baby vans and brown bread :) Dont know why though... 10. In her past life my mother was born and lived on Borneo, which partly belongs to Malaysia... One more mistery in my life... Kita diperhatikan , bukan nak suruh jadi fake bila kita buat semua benda. Jadi diri sendiri & bila buat sesuatu fikirkan terbaik utk diri kita , org lain n environment sekeliling kita. Jangan marah mereka yang mengomen , kita yg perlu jadi lebih baik. Jangan kesah pasal diorg komen , kesah pasal tanggungjawab/hubungan kita dengan manusia & pencipta kita.
