Second weekend of Avenue is done. What a great show. Really. I dont say that about all the shows Im involved with. Besides the fact that its a well directed well acted, beautifully sung with great tech staff and band, musical... the people I have the joy and pleasure of working with are just awwesome human beings. Seth Dahlgren has performed 6 shows plus tech etc. with pneumonia (Hes a charming beast), Alexander Belmont gives such a pure and honest portrayal of Rod it just makes me cry, Mia Klenk has some of the best comic timing of any actor I have ever worked with, Melissa Claire is amazingly able to keep several puppet character alive, funny and fresh, Peter Carroll is a breath of fresh air in a world of cookie cutter people, Dell Parker is catching on to this acting thing quickly and lights up the room with his smile, Amanda Morando has the voice of an angel and a heart of gold, Hannah Jester is charming and sweet on stage as well as off, Robert Nelson is the heart and soul of this show and is genuinely one of the nicest people on the planet (I agree with you Daniela Innocenti Beem) John-Robert Lubey has never balked at anything I have asked him to do backstage and he is a kick ass ASM. Corrin M Weston is the life of the party and keeps me in line in the booth. Carl Jordan is not only a visionary but the quiet, calm, reassuring cheerleader of us all. Monica and the band is amazing and so humble and I must mention Stevie Wonder sound man extra ordinaire. I miss you all already!!!
