Secular-Progressive is a commonly used term & description for todays Liberals. They are Secular in choosing a world outside of religion, and Progressive in believing that humanity can Evolve through social engineering...ironically, its a rather religious set of miraculous assumptions -isnt it ? - promising a type of ultimate salvation. ( read their Politically-Correct audacious writings ) Both aspects ( secular identity & progressive belief ) rely upon the Foundation of Relativist Thought-- I.e. Relating truth to personally-derived / personally-favored ideas outside of God & free from the natural constraints of Mans fallen condition, I.e. Original Sin. The ramifications of this idealized fantasy-world are very serious. Most murderous tyrannies throughout history have advanced upon these errors & miscalculations regarding reality. It all starts with denying God as God. Thats why His first Commandment is to have No Other gods before Me. This is where all of the Evil begins. This is where all of the despicable horrors we see in the world emanate from. The modern-day, Leftist Lib may not think of themselves as a superstitious Idolater - but thats exactly what they are. Theres no third way ! The vacuum one creates by denying God does not remain harmlessly vacate & empty. The force entering & usurping His Throne is the sinful & rebellious force of Self-worship. The particularly-crafted graven image is beside the point. Theres no power in the form of an inanimate golden calf, or the colors of a flag, or the mystic symbol hanging on the wall. The power is demonic. It is the power of Satan to tempt people away from God & toward any Image that will suffice in glorifying Self - above God - through works. These deeds of self-righteous justification are slavishly served in place of God because people would rather take control for themselves. They want to determine the particular form of payment that will satisfy their calculated indebtedness or self-defined sins. [ See Obamas Liberation Theology ] The alternative -- I.e. humbling oneself before a Holy & Just God at His Mercy -- is just too frightening of a prospect for these folks. Thats why they react in such hate-filled disgust whenever encountering someone who testifies to the Truth of God. Consequently, the Devil stands by ready to oblige the hiding sinner with whatever fanciful excuse such a person might buy in order to avoid reality. Its a cooperative deal .. an agreement upon the shared Rules for Radicals. ~ Now, cant you see why there might be such a thing as an Islamo-Marxist alliance ? One, however, should never fear God ! ( Respect Yes, Fear No. It maligns His loving character ) He paid the price for all of your sin with His Sons sacrifice. The one & only perfect Son of God { Jesus Christ } willingly took all of our punishment for us so that we may live eternally in paradise through Him .. to the Glory of the Father ! Amen.
