Security to be (super) heightened in Kumasi ahead of make or break NDC Congress. Kwabena Adjei, the embattled Party Chairman has already given indication that Kumasi will be worse than what happened in Koforidua where but for the timely intervention of security forces, incumbent National officers including Obed Asamoah, Bede Zedeng and Francis Assiam would have been lynched in broad day light. Obed Asamoah was held for over 48 hours by NDC hooligans and prevented from even urinating; Bede Zedeng had his balls crushed mercilessly ,with no mercy on his poor being, despite his appeals and screams for his balls to be let free while Frances was beaten with Horse whips, dragged on the floor and beaten mercilessly until she was rescued by a combined team of Police and the Military. None of those named above, especially Bede Zedeng, is fully recovered, till date, from the ordeal in Koforidua. So far all indications point to a fierce standoff between the Mahama/ Rawlings camp and the Ahwoi/ Asiedu Nketiah faction. Both factions are said to be busily preparing themselves both physically and spiritually and gathering some of the billions they have stolen from the people of Ghana to face off in Kumasi. (I typed millions but the autocorrect corrected it to billions). None of the factions is ready to lose in Kumasi. It is going to be the battle for the soul of the NDC, a party formed and kept alive through violence, thievery and lies. My advice to residents of Kumasi is that be very security conscious in the coming week and stay as far off from their congress as possible. Dont endanger yourself unnecessarily.
