See I have no option but to glue my eye on TV, so watched latest Sajha Sawal. As I was watching this show which covered accusing women as witch and then harassing them. Could not help but think but that the program host must have been the member of Gulab Gang before she joined BBC Nepali as a journalist. I used to think Rabindra Mishra acted like Hindi movie actor in this program but she is no less than him presuming that they should act like Indian movie actor to get the clap from the audience instead of making us see the real point from both side of our society. Oh, I get it now why the journos in BBC Nepal act like as if they have the shark teeth. It is the name of BBC coming with your names rights ! but then again Narayan Shrestha never acted like he has a fake shark teeth. Let me tell you - former gulab gang member - when women are victimized, its because the lady who have been victimized for 14 years yet has no guts to come forward and fight for her right and face them instead of remaining under shadow then again the accused witch lady who was shying away even after coming on TV show - you have to blur her face so that we dont know her. Does she really believes that her sons are brilliant in there studies because she is witch as told by her villagers ? if she is there to raise her voice against the witch charges then why she is hiding her face from the bigger mass ? Now I have to shy away to support her. then the talk of the women who went to police station to complain about rape attempt and the top authority is not supporting her. rape attempt is revenge case and I will never ever give my ear to that kind of news. Media should not spread the revenge issues. why make your [womens] point so feather light ? why keep blaming men for all the things that goes wrong in our life ? Journalist has to have deeper understanding, that their gutlessness is not nor it should be the issue of all women it should be viewed as different case not the problem of the mass. Is journalist is all about nagging or spreading the story of naggers ? I believe these are the reason we [women] have always lost the battle against men in our issues including the equal rights.
