Seeing my old skool label mate Saul Williams and our friend and client of Regenerate Fitness NYC Christopher Jackson SHINING like the SUPA STARS and INTENSE CREATIVE ARTISTIC GENIUSES that I know them to be on stage in the new Broadway HIT Holler If Ya Hear Me based on the lyrics of 2pac Shakur, literally made my HEART SING tonight. I was BEAMING with such happiness to know the two STARS of this AMAZING production, produced by Afeni Shakur, and directed by Kenny Leon who also directed A Raisin In The Sun on Broadway with Denzel Washington. Kenny was there tonight backstage dropping wisdom on these two young men 3 feet away from me. Of COURSE I took pics lol. This is a show that needs to be seen, heard, shared, and understood by as many people as possible. Its a tribute to Hip Hop, to Tupac, and to the many who share the similar story of being human in the world as we know it. Everyone can relate. Saul, Chris and the cast do a fantastic job translating the words & HEART of 2Pac Shakur. I cried through Chris entire Dear Mama piece. #omg. Dont take my word for it.
