Seeking help from my fellow animal welfare advocates: Need small donations to open an account at Armstrong Bank for Glenn Boulet, Sr. Some of you know that Mr. Boulet was attacked by two dogs last week on S. 9th St. I need $70.00 more dollars to open an account for he and Mrs Boulet, then I can advertise publicly and put an announcement in the paper, put out flyers, have the TV stations do follow-up story, etc. I do not blame these dogs, their breed, etc. The responsibility lies with the dog owners and the DA has stated in the paper that he will file charges against them. Mr. Boulet has a long recovery ahead. This is yet one more reminder why we need mandatory spay/neuter ordinance in the city that is enforced. My guess is that these were intact dogs but regardless-they were not safe dogs and this is an ownership issue. Facebook message me if you can help. Many thanks
