Seems a bit too Wide Eyed Crazy Conspiracy Theory (the 40 hour week) to be true...though curtailing mindless, small spending (looking at you $tarbux) is a good idea... As some one who works in excess of 60 hour weeks. (Nature of the profession) for months, followed by a month or 2 off, I submit that a regular 40 hour week offers PLENTY of time for a balanced life. Its when people free will CHOOSE to introduce a child (or multiple children) into the mix that life gets harried and there is never enough time. But kids are YOUR choice to have or not to have , not an impediment put there by evil corporations to take away your free time and make you pay for convenience. Since the author refers to the one sided Agit prop piece The Corporation, I guess I should have expected an anti biz polemic with little regard for fact.
