Seems like it would be more difficult to egress for the driver than current door tech, though for a rear passenger it might be slightly better until you park in a compact spot...but then again, its a model typically not chauffeured so that feature is quite moot. Also, in a compact parking space the front doors would actually bind against the adjacent vehicle thus negating any benefit.
