Seen this Epic movie (The 10 commandments) about 20 times since it came out, starring Charlton Heston still the best movie to watch during easter season besides (Passion of the Christ) with Jim Caviezel. Starting the reflections of my temporal life on Earth. Had conversation with next door neighbor yesterday who just turned 80 years old, fit and healthy. I said belated Happy birthday James! I was taken aback with his negative reply, There is nothing good about my birthday! I said why? He said 80 is old, nothing to celebrate! he truly looked dejected I said, Oh James, you look pretty good at 80, youre fit and healthy. If I reached that age and looking healthy and young looking, I will be laughing and rejoicing He said, I supposed I should be thankful and went off for a drive. While watering the garden, I had long hard reflections of people attitude. They seem take everything for granted. Living that long and being healthy is a blessing. Our time is borrowed and when we leave, we wont be seeing our love ones till they too, joined us on the next life. Cherish your remaining times on earth; dont worry about your age, thats only a numbers. All of us will be old one day. Is what we do with ourselves while we are in mortal forms that count. Like doing more for our fellow human beings and serve the community, less focus on looks department. I really meant what I said, if I reached the age of 80 wrinkly fit and healthy. I will be rejoicing and thanking God everyday.
