Buyer must also purchase and ship to seller GroJel if they wish it shipped with the birds, otherwise, fruit will be shipped with them. Our Self Blue Orpingtons are 50% Cecil Moore Black Orpingtons. To breed quality feathered and type in the lavender color gene, a breeder should out cross to a solid Black every other generation or so. Ours are out crossed to our 100% pure Cecil Moore line Black Orpingtons. This gives them an excellent Orpington type and keeps their color and feather quality great. Here are the actual birds we are selling with this listing. The red is the brooder light. These birds are now at a very low heat. They must actually stand under the light to get heat. Their brooder stays at about an average 40 to 50 degrees at night except under the light. They are very active and stay away from the heat most often. There is a cockerel and a pullet.
