#SelfCongratulateMoment The Flixtape idea came about from people constantly asking me to do a mixtape. It just felt a little out of my character for The Bullitts to do a regular mixtape so to speak. It felt a little corny to be honest. So I wanted to do something that was more my personality. Then I started taking classic theme tunes of films and TV episodes that I loved and began writing over them. Because there would always be themes that I think are ridiculously dope that the world either doesnt know about or has totally forgot. Dont believe me? Go to YouTube and type in The Streets Of San Francisco theme tune and imagine Ghostface Killah on it. Im probably gonna do that next. The dopest one I think I did is FlixTape episode 4 where I put Roisin Murphy over theme theme music of The Persuaders, but my favourite, by far... Is this: Episode 2, TAXI. I know its politically incorrect to say your own tish is fantastic but maaaaaaaan, Taxi is my favourite TV theme of all time bar none, so when I flipped it, even I was surprised at the gangsterosity of my pengame! Lol. Sometimes Im in the crib and this comes on a playlist and I think to myself, from this to They Die By Dawn ?? That Jeymes is a baaaad Motherf- Shhhhh. Ha!
