SelfDesign Daily Message: What they see is what they do From the first moment our infant smiles back at us or imitates what we do, to the day we hear him or her repeat our most undesirable utterance, we know we are being observed. Our children are trying to figure out what the roles in life are all about. What they see is what they do... Our language, our actions, our emotions, and our expressions of love are all absorbed and later reflected by our children. When we gaze into their eyes, we see the love and the trust there, and we want to be the person they see then. They continue to observe us and receive "messages" from us all the time. Being aware of the messages we are sending can make a big difference. What messages are you sending?
