Selling away Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor to Japense FDI is 50G i.e. a scam 25 times 2G. . Solution : see last para. . I request all to read on 100% FDi in Ahmedabad - Mumbai corridor - passenger as well as freight. This is 25 times 2G , may be more. And so I call it 50G, Please read on it, and you will see --- it started in 2005 and it has reached its logical conclusion. . The scam is when you compare giving away Ahmedabad - Mumbai corridor to Japanese with alternatives. . 1. Adding more tracks.of same quality . 2. Using existing trains to increase net speed of train (eg Shatabdi takes 7.5 hours from Ahmedabad-Mumbai and Duranto takes 6 hours, But if more tracks are added, then same trains will take only 4 hours). . 3. Using slightly better tracks and slightly better trains , and that will increase speed by another 30%/ . 4. Use 100% Indian made high speed and vullet trains , rather than imports. . Above alternative is feasible,. But instead, Congress = BJP = AAP = Sonia = NaMo = AK want to give away Ahmedabad - Mumbai corridor to Japanese. . Now if you compare above alternative with 100% FDI in Ahmedabad-Mumbai corridor, you will see that revenue wise, this is at least 50G. Or may be more. . The scam was 10 years in making, The Railway Ministers stopped price rise and let the service deteriorate to the extent that now almost every is saying YES to giving away Western Railways to Japanese. . Solution I propose are same old ---- In the book, I had written in 2009, see rahulmehta . com / 301.htm , pls see section on Railways. The solution I had suggested was Right to Recall Railway Minister and Jury System over Railway staff. This will force Minister to improve technology using help of private companies.
